Cards of all Names and Numbers
Cleveland Mall was busy this weekend as the mall opened it’s doors for a few featured events: a new art gallery, music show, and card show.
Stacy Stanley, an avid card collector from Shelby says, "it’s a Matthew Stafford card. I’m a Georgia Bulldog fan. I collect only Georgia Bulldog cards and rookies.”
Card vendor Rodney Spencer stationed his table at Cleveland Mall this weekend for locals to peruse and purchase all types of collectors cards from football to racing, and everything in between.
Cards range from $1 to a Sandy Koufax card priced at $1,200. Spencer is an army veteran, and he started selling cards last year. He sells mostly 50’s vintage cards at the mall with nearly 500,000 cards in his collection at home.
“It’s a hobby it gets me out of the house plus I enjoy collection cards and meeting different people,” says Spencer.
