Greenway Decals get Locals in Free
As temperatures continue to warm and winter weather becomes a thing of the past, for many time spent outdoors will heat up as well.
In January, County Commissioners voted to indefinitely collect fees for entry and use from out of county residents at the Broadriver Greenway.
To allow Cleveland County residents to continue to use the parks facilities free of charge the Greenway created vehicle decals.
With proof of residency decals are available weekdays at the Ranger Station from 9 am to 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m and will allow unlimited access to the Greenway through February of 2011.

April 1st of 2009 the Greenway was approved by the commissioners to collect a 5 dollar charge per car that enters the park tjat is not a resident of Cleveland County.
The Greenway reported to county commissioners in early January, they have collected $16,584 since collecting fees in April 2009.
