Gunman holds up convenient store

Local authorities want your help in locating a gunman who held up a convenience store Monday night.

According to Capt. Alan Norman of the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, two suspects were involved in an incident at Burns Savemart on East Stagecoach Trail.

One suspect held a gun up to the convenience store clerk and pulled him to the other side of the counter, according to Norman, as the other suspect cleaned out the register. The incident happened just before 10:30 p.m. Both male suspects fled on foot shortly after the incident. They were described as black men wearing black clothing, one with a red ski mask. They were last seen near Falls Street.
